How To Send Documents

Sending your documents to us couldn't be easier. We accept documents via three methods:
·Hard Copy·E-mail·FTP

Our total-service attitude led to the development of our Free FedEx Shipping offer. Now you can take advantage of our great savings in printing and have your documents shipped to us at no cost to you.

a. Hard Copy
Send us your plans along for free scanning, indexing, and posting to your Private Plan Room.

Ship Free Fed Ex to:

• Terms and conditions of use apply.
• Make sure to include your contact name, the name of your Private Plan Room (mark if new or existing), the name of the project, and the revision, if applicable. We will post your plans online and send you an email confirmation with information on how to access them.

b. Electronic Format
Save time and money by sending your documents via email or FTP.

• Email: Send plans via email to plans@planexpress.net
  We prefer plans be sent in as .PLT files. For assistance on sending documents electronically, call Customer Service.
• FTP: Point your FTP client to FTP.PlanExpress.net (Username: public / Password: plans)
  If you do not have FTP software installed on the computer you are using to send documents, use the following link to open our FTP server in a browser window: ftp://public:plans@ftp.planexpress.net

Once the FTP server has loaded within your browser window, drag the appropriate files in the window and the transfer will begin. You may want to create a sub-folder for your project so the files are not mixed with others. Upon completion of the file transfer, please e-mail plans@planexpress.net and give them instructions for the documents you uploaded.

Drawing file formats accepted by Plan Express, Inc.:

• TIFF
• PLT - include pen settings if necessary
• DWG - not a preferred format. Include pen settings and xref's.*
• PDF
• DWF *
• PDF
• Microsoft Word

*Extra charges may apply for plans sent as .dwg & .dwf (CAD) files. This will be addressed on a case by case basis.
